this conference about?

The growing need for collaboration within organizations plunges employees into a paradoxical situation :

Everyone is expected to master in-depth expertise in their field... but also to be able to adapt quickly to changes in strategic direction, new work methodologies or disruptive technologies
We insist on "breaking down silos", expanding areas of responsibility, opportunities for daily friction and workload... while encouraging everyone to maintain a good work/life balance

Each person must then respond to several loyalties : their day-to-day work issues, but also the issues specific to their N+1, their department, their company.

This gives rise to conflicts of loyalty, which can manifest through over-collaboration (endless meetings, dilution of key decisions in poorly calibrated collective consensus, etc.) or under-collaboration (withholding resources or information, jealously protecting one's territory, etc.).
